Download Rapid Downloader
Rapid Downloader is a free download manager program for Rapidshare.com. This program is intended for the users who use 'FREE' download facility of RapidShare (though we'd confess that it works equally smart for premium users also, setting for premium users is mentioned in our blog). This program automatically clicks the 'Free' button, waits for the timer and then starts the download. When 'Free' you user quota has a Waiting time, this will silently wait in the background for that amount of time and start the download again when the waiting time is over.
So, now you can just give all your RapidShare links to this program and be free to do anything else.
Pre-requisites: .NET framework 2.0 ( Download from Microsoft ). If you are not sure, just start the installation, you will get a message if .NET framework is not installed in your system

How to use Rapid-Downloader:
1. Install the application (obviously -:) )
2. Run the application. An Icon will appear in your taskbar. Right-click the icon and go to the Edit Menu. Click Settings.
2. The setting screen will appear. This screen anyway appears until the links file location is set.
a. Click the Browse button again the Label - Select Download Links File. Browse for links file in your computer. After you select this file, another file (called history file will be shown in the same folder). Basically it will contain the history of you downloads as a text file.
b. Then Select the Downloads folder. All your Rapidshare downloads will be saved in this folder.
c. If you want any email reports to be sent, just put your mail id. A download report will be sent after download is completed.
3. Downloads run in a hidden window. Double-click the icon to display the window. You may close it using the close button, download won't be killed, the window will be hidden again.
4. To break download Right-click -> Stop Download -> Select one of the two options.
5. To Exit the program gracefully Right-click -> Exit
How 'FREE' is this program:
My primary intention of developing this program is to automate the download procedure from RapidShare. I am sharing this application with you without any cost. So, what am I getting out of this?
As you know RapidShare offers a Premium account for a price or certain amount of Rapid-points. The program generates Rapid-points for my RapidShare account by downloading a file Orkut.rar (5MB) from my account at various intervals. This file contains only pictures, all taken by me (so no copyright violations -:) ).
Once a lot of people are using this program, my account will be getting lots of Rapid-points which I can use to create a Premium account. That's all the benefit I am getting.
